| What is New Capital Partners’ investment focus?
| | We remain open to unique opportunities across most industries. Our investment philosophy is geared toward identifying talented management teams with an innovative or proprietary advantage in high growth markets where a company has an opportunity to become a market leader. | What stage opportunities do you prefer? | | New Capital Partners prefers expansion stage growth opportunities. We believe the best use of our collective assets is to work with great management teams as partners to build phenomenally successful companies. While we prefer expansion stage investments, we will work with good management teams to build great companies at any stage. |
| What is the size of investment you typically make? | | We typically invest between $500,000 and $5,000,000 in one company. However, we will sometimes invest less and we often assemble and participate in syndications to complete considerably larger transactions. |
| Do you prefer to lead the investment? | | We especially prefer to lead an investment when we believe New Capital Partners and our resources will best benefit the company. When we lead an investment we bring our full focus and commitment to maximizing the success of the company and attracting the right investment partners. New Capital Partners will also look to co-invest in a number of opportunities where we believe the company will best be served by having another firm lead the investment. |
| Do you require a board seat?
| | We require a board seat when we lead the investment. Our commitment and contribution to the company’s success is best delivered when we are actively involved on the board. In investments that we do not lead, we may require certain visitation rights in lieu of a board seat. |

| Will you keep my business confidential? | | We treat all submissions as extremely confidential and we are very careful to maintain that confidentiality to protect both your business and our reputation. We promise to uphold the highest ethical standards in all of our personal and professional dealings. |
| What information do I need to provide New Capital Partners for you to evaluate my business? | While a formal business plan is not required for investment consideration, we do ask that you please include as many of the following key elements as possible:- Brief description of the opportunity
- Detailed management biographies
- Market size and projected growth
- Competitive analysis, economic model, and risk assessment
- Historical, year-to-date, and projected financial statements
- Financing need and uses

| How long does it take you to make a decision? | | We typically require a couple of weeks to review your business plan and we may contact you to ask questions or follow up on certain issues. We respect your time and will try to make a decision about moving forward in a timely manner. The entire funding process usually takes 90-120 days, however we will take into consideration the timing issues related to the business under review. | | Due diligence includes reviewing the business plan and assumptions, thoroughly analyzing the opportunity and assessing risk. | What type of exit strategy do you prefer?
| | While New Capital Partners seeks to make every investment worthwhile financially for our investors, we are equally focused on building great companies with sustainable business models and unlimited growth and profit potential. We will pursue traditional exit strategies such as IPOs, mergers & acquisitions or other opportunities when appropriate. However, we are also content to continue working with successful companies to grow their market share and profitability beyond the typical exit strategy scenario. |
