Vice President, Transaction and Operations
Ryan Berg joined NCP in 2012 after completing his MBA at the Darden Graduate School of Business. While at Darden, Ryan spent his internship at Arcapita Inc., a global private equity firm, where he worked on M&A and refinancing transactions, as well as assisted in portfolio management activities. Prior to Darden, Ryan worked in the Strategic Planning group of First Wind, a wind energy portfolio company of Madison Dearborn and DE Shaw, where he was heavily involved in the firm’s corporate capital raising efforts and development project evaluations. Prior to First Wind, Ryan was an Analyst in the Global Industrials Group of UBS Investment Bank, executing numerous M&A transactions, in addition to debt and equity financings. As Vice President of Transaction and Operations, Ryan leads the analysis of new investment opportunities, manages prospective deals throughout the transaction and due diligence process and provides strategic and operational support to NCP’s portfolio companies post-close. Ryan serves on the Boards of Care Services, Sequence Health and REPAY.
Ryan earned a BS at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.
